History of E C Loomis & Son Insurance Associates

Established in l905 selling agricultural oriented insurance and fire insurance. 1957 the company was incorporated. 1961 Charles Cabassi became an agent. Sept. 1973 Gordon Bennett and Charles Cabassi, purchased the insurance company from the balance of the Loomis family and formed a partnership. Nov. l974 moved to 220 Traffic Way, Arroyo Grande, Ca.,where we are still located. April l994 Gordon Bennett retired and Karl Hartwig purchased Gordon’s portion of the business. 1991 became affiliated with United Valley Insurance Group.
